“Pentatix Primer” – matte alkyd primer, intended for indoor use. It is used to prime concrete, brick, wood, plastered, and chipboard surfaces located indoors, before painting with alkyd enamels and water-based paints. It equalizes the absorption capacity of the surfaces to be painted. It possesses good isolating properties, blocking water-soluble contaminants (such as coffee, nicotine, rust, wine stains, etc.).
USAGE
The base can be used in white or tinted with light tones. If the “Pentatix” primer is painted in the same color as the paint to be applied afterward, it will reduce the latter's consumption. Before use, stir thoroughly, and if necessary, dilute with white spirit to the desired working viscosity (up to 5% by volume). Prime clean and dry surfaces with 1-2 coats using a brush or roller. During priming, the air and surface temperature should not be lower than +5 °C, and the air humidity should not exceed 85%.
CONSUMPTION
8-10 m²/l is consumed per layer. Drying time at 20±2 °C temperature – no more than 24 hours.
