TOP COAT APPLICATION AND MAINTENANCE TIPS
• Before use, the paint should be thoroughly mixed.
• When applying with a brush, the paint should not be thinned; when using a roller, it is allowed to add thinner up to 10% of the volume; using a high or low pressure sprayer, it is allowed to add thinner up to 15% of the volume; HAMMERITE thinner (brush cleaner and thinner) should be used for thinning.
• To ensure an even coverage without color differences, a sufficient amount of paint should be mixed in the paint container.
• When using a brush or roller, apply 2 coats; when using a high-pressure sprayer - 2-3 coats, when using a low-pressure sprayer - 3-4 coats.
• During paint application and drying, the air and surface temperature should be +5…35 °C (recommended +18±2 °C), with relative humidity <80%. Avoid painting in windy conditions, as well as in direct sunlight, as overly intense solvent evaporation can cause an uneven and poor quality paint layer on the surface.
• For cleaning the contaminated surface during operation, use clean water, as well as neutral or weakly alkaline cleaning agents (pH < 8). After using the cleaner, the surface should be thoroughly rinsed with water, as prolonged alkaline exposure on the painted surface can make it dull. Higher water temperatures speed up surface cleaning. Use a soft brush or sponge for cleaning. Avoid strongly alkaline cleaning agents.
