Application. Single-component gypsum plaster, suitable for use on all common substrates, in all indoor environments with normal air humidity, including wet areas of living spaces such as bathrooms and kitchens. Suitable for use as a repair mixture or decorative finishing. Provides a better microclimate, breathes excellently, i.e., is vapor permeable. Designed for hand application.
Substrate. The substrate must be dry, load-bearing, clean, frost-free, free of loose particles, and not damp, as well as water-absorbent. There should be no oil and dirt residues from forms on concrete surfaces. Electrical wiring must be plastered with at least a 5 mm thick layer. Concrete surfaces and reinforced concrete monolithic ceilings should be primed with Knauf Betokontakt primer. All types of masonry walls, highly moisture-absorbing surfaces should be primed with Knauf Stuc Primer (dilutable) and allowed to dry completely.
Work process. Pour the mixture into clean water (5 kg + approximately 3–4 l of water) and mix with a spiral mixer until the lumps disappear. Apply the material to the surface and level it with a profiled “H” shaped ruler, finishing the leveling of the plaster surface with a trapezoidal ruler, then wet the plaster surface with a sponge and smooth it. The average thickness of the plaster layer - 10 mm, minimum - 5 mm. Plaster ceilings only in one layer. If tiles are to be glued, plaster only in one layer, the surface must not be treated with a sponge and must not be puttied or sanded, in which case the minimum thickness of the plaster layer is 10 mm. The material should be applied to the surface and leveled within 20 minutes of preparing the mortar.
Duration of work. From the moment of mortar preparation, it takes approximately 1–1.5 hours, depending on the substrate of the plaster and the environmental conditions. Dirty dishes and tools shorten work time.
Storage. Valid for use for 6 months from the production date. Store in dry rooms on wooden pallets. Open bags should be tightly closed and used first.
Material consumption. Approximately 0.8 kg/m2 if the layer thickness is 1 mm.
