ISOVER ACOUSTIC products are mainly intended as sound insulation for internal partitions of lightweight structures. The product is also used for improving sound insulation in suspended ceiling constructions and between floors.

ISOVER ACOUSTIC products are typically installed between wooden or metal frame/grid elements without additional fasteners. When installing ACOUSTIC, it should be ensured that the wool fits tightly to the structure. The insulation width should be approximately 10–15 mm larger than the frame gap; then, due to its flexibility, the wool will fit tightly to the frame elements, preventing the formation of air channels and gaps that would reduce the sound insulation of the structure. The product width is 610 mm, designed for installation between metal frame studs with a 600 mm spacing.
Boards with a width of 565 mm are intended for installation between standard spaced wooden frame studs. The product thickness should be chosen according to the thickness of the frame (metal or wood), and the insulation should be at the same level as the frame. To ensure the structure meets the specific building requirements, the designer's instructions should be followed during installation."}
