ISOVER STANDARD ROLL 40 rolls are typically installed between wooden or metal battens without the use of additional fasteners. The width of the insulation should be approximately 10-15 mm larger than the frame gaps, allowing the wool, due to its flexibility, to fit snugly against the frame elements, preventing the formation of air channels and gaps that would reduce the thermal performance of the structure. The thickness of the wool should be chosen according to the thickness of the structure (rafters), and the insulation should be level with the frame. Using special fasteners, ISOVER STANDARD ROLL 40 can be installed without a rafter structure.
