Bauroc aerated concrete lintel h=400

bauroc LINTEL is used as a load-bearing element for spanning window and door openings in bauroc block walls (except for the LINTEL with a width of 100 mm). The bauroc LINTEL is calculated as a single span beam and is designed to bear a certain load.
The bauroc LINTEL is not recommended to be loaded with a concentrated load. The lintel reinforcement allows for multi-storey building floor panels to be supported directly on the lintel without additional block rows.

The LINTELS should rest on supporting surfaces on each side as specified in the table below for the respective lintel size concerning the opening. bauroc recommends a support surface of 250-300 mm. For longer lintels, it may be necessary to increase the support surface. The supporting surfaces must be flat and made of whole blocks. The supporting surfaces and also the blocks of the previous row must be bonded with a full joint (without air gaps). The lintel itself is also completely covered with a layer of adhesive. Where possible, using lintels with a height of 400 mm is recommended. The load-bearing capacity of such LINTELS is always greater, and the deflection is significantly less.
It is prohibited to cut the LINTELS to reduce their size, to drill into the lintels, to groove channels, or to make any other changes that affect the properties of the LINTELS.

bauroc LINTELS are manufactured according to the width of bauroc blocks (500mm, 375 mm, 300 mm, 250 mm, 200 mm, 150 mm, 100mm). Their height is 200 mm (one block height), 400 mm (two blocks height), or 600 mm (three blocks height), if their length is greater than 5 m. All LINTELS (except for lintels with a width of 100 mm) are used as load-bearing elements.
